Say "Hi" to Oscar! Paul and I are proud of our fish! He (or she-- we can't tell) started out small at two inches long, and now he is a whopping ELEVEN INCHES from mouth to tail! We have read that Oscar will grow up to 12 inches long, and he is almost there. Oscars live as long as cats do, so we're hoping to spend our lives with Oscar for at least another dozen years. Our not-so-little Oscar is pretty much our "dog." He swims around his forty gallon tank, happily eating a buffet of foods and rearranging his plastic plant toys. Oscar has big amber eyes and likes to watch what we're doing. He's one very cool fish! |
